Re: Anyone speak Italian?

Roughly translates to, "an amazing Game of Thrones MOC, but what really stands out is that handsome devil that goes by the name of some green produce."

Re: Make A Wish Fairy Tale Build

Hey, I just wanted to add to this - Emily just messaged me on facebook as well, disappointed she didn't know about the last meeting (she asked when it was, and I said last night). How are not-quite-yet-members supposed to know about the meetings, so they can attend them to become real members? Seem...

Wow, you play Brikwars and you haven’t found us yet? Welcome! So what type of armies have you built up so far? We have a few who still play, so hopefully you’ll have some worthy opponents soon. The next meeting is Oct 27th (evening) and our membership coordinator will get in touch with you.

I thought I'd have something. But wow. So who has the Ghostbuster's Fire House? That'll almost do you for those 1x8 LBG tiles.

Re: New to the forum?

I think you've come to the right spot. It's good to find people that you can "geek out"' with about your hobby. That speak the language and can help you grow. Or as you say, just kick back and have a beer with.

Welcome!

Re: Lego Inventory/Spreadsheets

I used to use a basic spreadsheet but almost all of that can be done on Brickset and then imported into Rebrickable. At least that's how I've done it.

Re: City 2018 rumours

I had to look up what ungulates were, the BC school system had failed my education. I did not know that the distinction would be even number of toes vs. odd number of toes. Then again even reading the Wikipedia entry, I'm still unclear what an ungulate is.

Re: Ninjago City announcement

So is there a market for printing LEGO bricks with the UV printer rather than applying stickers? I wonder what people would pay for that, assuming that the buyer has to send the bricks from the set to the printer, labour costs and then postage back.

Wow... Now that's a parts pack. It's got a certain busy-ness feel that seems very appropriate. Welcome Carlos!

It's expensive enough being a LEGO addict yourself, you have to turn your kids into them too? Or is this some nefarious double down scheme to be able to claim all that LEGO back when they go through their dark ages? :)
