You're too modest. This thing is brilliant. I especially like the plates as toes and the NPU on the boat as the base of the head.

Re: WIP looking for feedback - Friendly Quad Jumper

You could swap out some of the 1x4 curved slopes for friendly colours, creating a ring around each engine. Perhaps a ring near the front and a ring near the back?

The dark bley would also look better in lavender or something similar.

Re: Craigslist ad

Edit: I just skimmed the CL FAQs and apparently checking the "prohibited" checkbox IS the way to flag something. If enough people flag an item, it get's automatically deleted. So... who's in for marking those two posts as "prohibited"? It looks like this worked for the first ad (or he sold it) beca...

Re: Craigslist ad

There's a second one now: http://vancouver.craigslist.ca/van/tag/5595808064.html

Claims to have the best prices on the internet, but in both cases the lowest Bricklink prices are about half of what this guy wants.

Re: Need for MOC: 6 to 10 Large Trans Blue flag with Rod

Ideally, I'd like to get them sooner, as they are the only piece I am waiting for to finish my MOC. Where are you located? Perhaps I can make a trip out to you to get them. All my LEGO is in storage until I move into the new place, which is in Surrey kinda near the museum. I know exactly where they...

I have them and I'm not doing anything with them. If you can wait until the second week of June, they're yours.

Re: ReBrick Contest: Who's the baddest villain in Ninjago?

I know who Pierre's entry is gonna be. Is he a villain? Ya need to put spoiler alerts on these things. Actually, he's probably just misunderstood. I really have no idea to be honest. I'm just specially profiling and assuming he's a villian. And has a high pitched nasally voice too. "Ooo those wretc...

Re: Hold on. Possibably new Harry Potter sets to come.

I'm sure there will be new sets and it would be awesome! Why would Lego bother with the IP/new figures, if not for new sets to go along side. I feel like we'll get the same deal as LOTR where we get sets from this movie (series possibly?) and sets from Harry Potter. It will be interesting if they r...

Re: Shopping in the US?

Do LEGO Stores in the States offer different promotional freebies than stores up here? As far as I know they're the same. There is the occasional TRU promo down there that we don't get, and I usually end up Bricklinking or eBaying the ones that I want.

Spend $75 get a free set with a yellow bike

June 1st to 15th, spend $75 at the LEGO Store and get LEGO Creator 40221 Fountain. http://www.hothbricks.com/2016/04/juin-set-exclusif-lego-creator-40221-fountain-offert/ The set has a yellow bike in it. Even if you don't get this set, the price for yellow bikes will probably be coming down on Brick...

Not really. The Craigslist ad was two tickets for $500. Gumby would be making off like a bandit. :)
I just assumed he meant $499 for a pair. Total savings of 50 cents per ticket!
