Re: Ultimate Star Wars Book

Furthermore, because it's a handpicked favourite at the store you'll receive an extra 15% off when you use the code PICKED15 at the checkout. I'd really like to get my hands on one of these at a decent price. Perhaps we could order a few together and try to save even more on shipping? Unfortunately...

Ultimate Star Wars Book

I almost ignored this deal because The Book People is a UK company (thinking shipping to Canada wouldn't be worth it), but their current 9.99 GBP sale price on a brand new DK book called the Ultimate Star Wars Book is so good that even after shipping to Canada (a mere 5 GBP) it comes to just 14.99 G...

Classic TV Series Batcave - clearance deal

If anyone was on the fence about this set, this may be the last chance to get it. And if you have one, this might make you wish you waited, or might make you consider getting a second one. The set has been marked as "retiring soon" for quite some time now, but LEGO has just increased the savings (on...

Probably because it's the first LEGO castle.

I saw them in the Build a Figure station at one of the LEGO Brand Retail Store recently so you might want to try calling them - I think it was the Guildford one ('though maybe it was Oakridge).

I like the smaller build using similar technique (pressurized air blasts shoot part off conveyor belt) with Mindstorms to sort Technic pins:

Re: Ninjago City announcement

Wow. 4867 pcs for only 300. 6 cents a brick. The black terracotta roof looks great, and using black car doors for roofing to is awesome. Nice find Degobbi. Given our current exchange rate I'm loving the LEGO exchange rate - $349.99 CAD for this set (no need for a cross-border shopping trip for this...

Re: 3rd Party Exclusives (i.e. TRU Exclusives)

This is great news. I know, right? I haven't seen this reported anywhere else yet, but this seems like the kind of information that the retail employees would have reliably. As for reliability, I can't imagine they would be misinformed, so it's got to be at least partially true. I was asking about ...

3rd Party Exclusives (i.e. TRU Exclusives)

Have you ever found yourself at the LEGO Store, not seeing stock on the shelf, asking if they have any of set X in stock only to be told set X is a ToysRUs exclusive (only available at TRU or shop.lego.com), or a Walmart exclusive, etc.? Well, if that's ever bothered you (as it occasionally has me) ...

Yes, welcome! (I finally got you on the forums. ) Welcome Carlos! It's expensive enough being a LEGO addict yourself, you have to turn your kids into them too?
