Medieval Lego (book)
I saw this post on brickset: http://brickset.com/article/15498/medieval-lego-a-history-book-of-epic-proportions Talking about a new Lego book coming out. The only reason for the post here is I noticed one of the sample pages shows off some of Pauls work: https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/500/18735048436...

Re: The Winning Strategy of LEGO - Wired Magazine
by that chart POC wasn't that big of a flop it at least equalled LOTR. The chart is kind of confusing as the top right blue/white area is related to revenue, but the yellow bricks have nothing to do with revenue and are purely the number of different sets produced under each license. Ie. no way to ...

That first picture is my favorite of the bunch! I love the way the mixel joints make it look so maneuverable and the purple pods look great on the back. Great mix of Friends and Galaxy squad.Bricksky wrote:Friends in Space Contest Entry #2??? undecided on this one...

Pley.com - Netflix for lego
It doesn't seem like a very good business model to me as it kind of goes against the main appeal of Lego (it's re-usability and the way sets can be combine to create new things)...

Re: What is your favorite CLASSIC SPACE Set?
Classic Space, or just Space as it was back then, was my thing growing up. I've still got most of my sets from when I was a kid and also inherited a friends collection when he moved to Ireland about 8 years ago. The two sets I remember most are the Space Cruiser (I never had the Galaxy Explorer as a...

Re: April Competition - Alternate Set Build
I was working on a MOC last week (not for this contest, just for fun) when one of our sets of drawers started to tip over. Everything on top slid off and crashed into some other MOCs, the drawers all started to spill and as I spun around to try and catch it I knocked the baseplates of the MOC I'd be...

Canon, not a cannon. But the back story cleared everything up. I can only assume JJ Abrams will take inspiration from this MOC and answer the questions listed in the backstory over the course of the next 3 movies.Bricksky wrote:First, yes it is a canon.

Looks great Tyler, instantly recognizable now... I also really like how the 2 front radar dishes aren't symmetric. The one on the right has that little hole in the center making it look like a different type of sensor. My favorite part is definitely the suspension. Great work all around!
