Re: Lego Compatible Products
I know. I was going for comedy by deflecting the Kragle bit to the wall, instead of LEGO. Doesn't matter. My humor doesn't travel by internet.Lettuce wrote:My kragle suggestion was in response to the suggestion of using this tape in a MOC.jeffrose wrote:Ugh... Kragle on a wall, are you serious?

Now, now. That's enough trash-talking of Lettuce's work.

Re: Dimensions at Dollarama
Probably. Some of the older ones are on sale at shop.LEGO.com too in case you want to pay a bit more and get a Batman.
I may find a Dollarama tomorrow and see what's what. Figures are fun.

Dimensions at Dollarama
Reports coming in of LEGO Dimensions sets at Dollarama for just $4.00 in Canada.
I don't buy those, so I don't know how good a deal it is. Certainly not the $0.99 they're paying in the US, but...

Re: Flash TV show
They use CCP on their signs, I think. Arrow uses OQP for the most part. In Flash, StarLabs is actually BC Place, quite obviously. Downtown landmarks are easy to spot. last night a rooftop fight in either Arrow or Legends of tomorrow showed BC Place roof in one angle and the the Telus Building and Ha...

Re: Flash TV show
The show is entirely filmed in the Vancouver area and has been since day one, likewise with Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow. Although it's filmed in Vancouver, most of the "running through the city at high speed" parts are now entirely CGI, but if you go back to the beginning they just used sped up im...

These pictures came from Nuremberg Toy Fair today. There's a bunch of others, but people were talking about these sets - Fun at the Beach, the Bus Station and the Jungle Explorers.

I thought about monkeys and others too, but for most species, the difference (as relates to a LEGO figure) are minimal. Lion makes sense as the male and female are quite different without getting into "non-family-friendly" areas.

Chapters sale starts Thurs. Nov 24.
A friend of mine who works for Chapters in Alberta told me today that they were starting a 20% off sale on LEGO on Thursday and that it hadn't been announced as of yesterday. Could be a chance to scoop something if any of the Indigo/Chapters here have anything good. No details on what's included/exc...

New LEGO Death Star Leaked
I'm not going to post it here, but over on Reddit there's a thread showing the box from the new LEGO Death Star set 75159. The rumors are that this is 4016 pieces, 24 minifigures, $500 US and very similar to the last Death Star playset. It should be the 2nd VIP set in September along with the Holida...

These look really cute and familiar too  ! They're more "real" looking than Pierre's brickbuilt ones, but feel similar. http://brickbrains.com/2016/07/new-lego-brickheadz-to-launch-at-comiccon/ http://d2qf25b0wy4hy2.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/superman-and-wonder-woman-brickheadz....

Re: LEGO's 5th largest (piece count) set coming
I'll build it for someone if they buy it. That's brilliant! Instead of building people's IKEA furniture for them, a business could be started where someone comes and build your Lego sets for you! I now know what I want to be if I grow up! This kid in Australia is doing it. http://brickbrains....

Congrats on the successful upgrade Jason.
Takes a bit of getting used to, but overall I think it's a much needed improvement. And the ability to easily update as things change in the future will make your life a lot easier.

Shopping in the US?
Just curious if anybody does little road trips to Washington to visit their TRU and LEGO stores (etc) for some shopping? Or how you get some of the cool bonuses they seem to get. Just pay the extra on eBay etc?
