Re: Joker's Funhouse on Daily Planet Discovery Channel

I found a way to watch the clip, it aired on January 7th. You can stream it from the Discovery Channel website. http://watch.discoverychannel.ca/#clip1063054 When it comes up you have to watch two commercials, then you can fast forward to 6;18 to see the clip, or watch the cool article on food of th...

Re: The LEGOMOVIE - Official Sets!!!

The Fabuland T shirt is very cool! Too bad you have to buy the large set to get it.

I picked up the Cloud Cuckoo Palace set and a few minifigs today.

Re: LEGO Books at Costco

I had thought that you had seen the book at the Cocktails and Lego event. I just assumed that everyone at the event had a chance to look through it. I apologize if I assumed you had seen it Pierre. But what I would have hoped is that since a VLC member is featured in the book. Which was made clear i...

Re: LEGO Books at Costco

Thanks Tim. I really do recommend it. It doesn't have quite as many pictures as Beautiful Lego, but the text covers a lot of interesting aspects of the hobby. From the history of Lego as an art form to the Great Ball Contraption as well as interesting facts about all the different Lego Guinness Worl...

Don't forget Sarah Herman's Extreme Lego Book. It features quite a few local builders including myself. I learned a lot reading it so would recommened it beyond the fact that I'm in it. It is for sale at Amazon.ca for $16.12 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1626362122/ref=pe_152050_87092280_em_1p_3_...

Hi Tyler.

With a name like Tyler you should have lots of tiles.

I'm busy Wednesday, but am free Thursday after 6:00 or Friday after 3:30.

Re: Parts needed for BRICKCON MOC... Can you Help me out?

Hi Tyler.

I have some dark grey tiles, not sure if I have 100 in new grey. But I have lots of 1X2 in old grey that you could borrow.

I think I have some of the spheres in green.

Lego Logo Sign on Ebay

For the Lego collector who has everything, here is everything else. I found a cool acrylic Lego sign on ebay, the seller custom makes signs, and there are lots of interesting designs and themes in addition to the Lego Logo. http://www.ebay.ca/itm/LEGO-3-D-SIGN-LEGOLAND-replica-cartoon-NEW-Movie-3D-b...

Here is a really great look at the process that a Lego set goes through to be developed and taken to market.

Re: Rollercoaster Factory

It is a pretty cool product. It is designed so that you can use lego chain to motorize the cars. I had the chance to build with it recently. The biggest issues they are having is getting the right flexibility for the track. Here is a link to a moc I made with the product; http://www.flickr.com/photo...

The North Van Walmart has about 12 cases out in the aisle in front of the Toy department today.

I went through a few but couldn't find Mr Gold. There is lots so if you spend the time you'll have no problem finding complete sets.

As the new poster boy for Geek Chic I think the article was pretty good. You just never know going in which angle they will take. I might have used the "Geek" word a bit less if I had been the author, especially since my face was right there. At the end of the day I guess I'm waving the fl...
