Re: Lego Oakridge Pick A Brick wall updates

I'm going to New York in 3 weeks time. I'll have to go check out the pick a brick wall there! FYI, prices at the Rockefeller Center and Flatiron locations are above MSRP. I'm not sure if the store in Queens Centre would have the exclusive build-a-model, but if you have time I'd suggest checking it ...

Re: Holiday Display @ La Fontana Cafe

We should start a thread of Lego found in places you wouldn't expect it. Maybe someone with the power to do so can simply rename this thread to "LEGO Display Sightings" ? A couple windows in the main East-West corridor at the West Vancouver Recreation Centre tend to always have some built...

Lego Display Sightings in the Lower Mainland

NOTE: Thread renamed and repurposed at Kyler's request to list Lego displayed especially in places that aren't Toy retailers or where you may not have expected to see it. Snap a photo if possible and share it here. - Pierre ---------- My friend was just at La Fontana Cafe (members might remember tha...

Something to for others keep in mind...

...If anyone else is wanting some black nets, I just placed an order on Bricklink for Lettuce and I, and should have enough left for someone else if anyone wants to share our BL shipping costs instead of incurring their own.

Re: No Starch Press LEGO eBooks for a bargain (a donation to charity)

Some of them are lovely coffee table books (like Beautiful LEGO) which indeed make more sense (and view better) as physical print books. But for those that provide an instructional aspect, it's probably easier for some to reference their laptop or iPad screen while building than to figure out a way ...

No Starch Press LEGO eBooks for a bargain (a donation to charity)

I heard about this fantastic deal from Robin S. but apparently the word's getting out (Brickset has now blogged about it). It's a time limited offer (so don't delay) but there are a bunch of fantastic books you can get while simultaneously donating to charity. Have a look Brickset Blog Post: http://...

Apparently the SBrick+ can communicate with the sensors from WeDo - The Official Lego educational packs. Unless you plan to buy those packs, I don't imagine the added functionality would be worth the added cost... or siply buying more SBricks since I have 2 now. :) Yeah, one of the replies to the B...

Hey Jason et. al.

Have you seen what one fan of Technic and Trains (Sariel) has done with the new gears (and an SBrick)?

Re: For the technic Geeks.

I was lucky enough to get my hands on ONE of those coveted hailfire droid wheels a couple weeks ago in a bin of used LEGO a local dad was offloading. That's when I realized how expensive they are to buy now. 'Course a few club members have since made me realize I'm now stuck with the dilemma of fork...

Re: 10254 Winter Holiday Train

I was expecting one of the two sets available to VIPs September 15th would be their annual Holiday Creator set.
I'm collecting them, so I'd be getting it no matter what it was, but since my collection doesn't date back to the last Holiday Train, I'm excited to see that a new one's coming.
