look at existing microscale builds online to see how certain design elements translate into smaller dimensions to start off. then build a few from instructions if you have to to get the techniques then moc it up

that's WAY higher then the classic ball pumps . The first generation of ball pumps used the old 9v motors and lacked check valves though, so probably the larger selection of technic parts, newer motors and check valve all contribute to its impressive pumping height.

I ask cause unlike conveyor belts which are petty much unlimited the older first generation lego ball pumps capped out around 20 " . Interested if the check valve makes a big difference.

4 things that are not easily found like official Lego lighting I say go right ahead and use aftermarket lights. Heck I even used wood in a Moc once

Hey if anyone is looking for a efficient space saving storage system with doors that you can actually shut to hide it company . I found this website that has them prebuilt . They are kinda expensive ( all prices in CDN ) . but for those who don't wanna build something their self its a great option ....
