Hey everyone, Nathan here, the lonely VLC exile out in the prairies. I will hopefully be coming to Brickcon this year but I am looking for a ride from the lower mainland. I will be flying in to either Abbotsford or Vancouver on the Thursday. Obviously I will pay my share of gas so this could work ou...

I was a groomsman in a wedding this spring in which the bride gave the groom a set of cufflinks similar to those. How the heck did he get Lego cufflinks before me?

I was at TRU in Langley yesterday and they've got nothin' in the way of new sets. I picked up two of the fire hovercraft though, only to discover that the skirt is all one piece. It's like a hovercraft shaped baseplate. Thbbbbt! That's what I have to say about that!

I've seen pics of the cement mixer and am sorely disappointed to see that the mixer is basically one piece. It come in half lengthways with pins to hold it together. Here I was gatting my hopes all up for a six wide cone and round bricks.

I think that the curved top arch bits are my favourite piece. I love making creations with smooth transitions between planes. Also, any combination of technic brick with holes and half pins is great for building in all directions.

They also had 2x2, 2x4, 2x6 bricks in green and 2x2, 2x4, and 2x6 plates in green. The selection of basic green was greentastic.

He was down at Brickfest a couple weekends ago and sold almost all of his stock. He might still have some of what you're looking for available but chances are slim.

It's still smuggling, and it is still illegal. Mind you, so is speeding and everybody does it right? So we may as well just do it too.

Because that would be ethical. Don't you think local toy stores have a hard enough time competing with the American market without us resorting to smuggling?

You seem to "require" an awful lot considering the rarity of the set. I have the small post truck, #105 I think, but wouldn't really part with it unless the price is right. It is used and I have the instructions. They are taped together and I don't have the box. If you can't find any MISB, just pm m...

I am wondering if you have really seen the potential for the brick if you honestly believe that.
